From what I've been seeing and what people have been saying, people are not prepared for this kind of hip-hop. The problem that people have with artist's like Unk and others like him (Dem Franchize Boys, D4L, & other A-town artists) is that they dont think that putting a good beat with some some rhyming words should not be considered rap, which I partially agree with, but respect should be given where it is deserved. this type of "music" is the type that kids think is cool but it is not real music. Music is supposed to mean something to your heart, lyrics is what hip-hop needs. This is whack hip-hop.
