Don't Shoot Them Down (5 stars)
First of all, let me state that 'Don't Shoot Me Santa' is no 'A Great Big Sled', but it still delivers that Killers feel. Personally, I can't listen to it without being reminded of 'Why Do I Keep Counting?', but that doesn't stop me from loving it on it's own terms. First off, this song is amazing. It's simply the work of pure geniuses. I love the odd lyrics and their use of instruments. Amazing! Now, I just want to make a friendly comment to some of the people writing: "Why would Santa shoot you?" You have to think outside the box and listen to what the words are saying. In the song, this guy did a bad thing and he's trying to justify his actions to Santa. It's symbolic, I'm sure many of you
