this is a good album (4 stars)
this was my very first blues album i ever bought, got it when i was 17, now i'm 30 and it's sill one of my favorites because it introduced me to Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Jimmy Rogers, Freddie King, Howlin Wolf, etc. I can single handedly thank eric clapton for bringing into the blues. It's not an actual live album, but it each song was done in a single take giving it that live feel. There were not any overdubs or punch ins on this alb

This is a mistake or misprint (1 star)
From the Cradle is THE best Eric Clapton solo album ever released but this is NOT a live album it's the studio album.

It's Clapton!!! (4 stars)
Live, schmive! Who cares...it's Clapton doing THE BLUES. That's all that matters. As far as his singing goes if I want to hear the origional singers doing these songs, I'll listen to them. But this is Clapton so I want to hear Clapton. This is a great album. Enjoy it, folks. Now...if you'll excuse me, I'm going to download it.
