Worth Buying - An Awesome Band Live (4 stars)
I am quite happy to see a good mix of songs from both old and new albums alike on this EP. Every live track that I have listened to by this band does not disappoint, although it is not complete without the light show that complements such powerful songs. This is a great EP. The Highlight to me is "What if the Storm Ends." This song was a part of "Lightning Strike" on their album "A Hundred Million Suns." Its such a great song with Gary Lightbody singing this song GREAT and it also has awesome instrumentals. The opening piano really sets the tone. Incredible (5 stars)
I first heard the group when they opened for U2 in Toronto...needless to say, they blew me away with their energy and great stage show...this album really captures their amazing rapport with the audience and love of music. A definate must for fans, or if you're not lucky enough to see them in person, this is the next best thing.
