Hey iTunes - cut back on the spiked eggnog. If this album made no impression on you, then you are just as we might expect...without a soul. If you like James Taylor, you'll like this album. Besides the more diverse and unusual choices like "Go Tell It On The Mountain" and "River" - the character and quality of his voice bring a richness and tenderness that has been missing from over-commercialized Christmas for decades

Taylor's voice is heartfelt on "In the Bleak Midwinter." A great version of a classic.
