Finally! They have early Genesis (5 stars)
Nursery Cryme is the First Genesis album to consist of the classic lineup: Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford, Phil Collins, and Steve Hackett on guitar, and they perform superbly. The two best songs are "The Musical Box" with the intense climas and great storyline, and "The Return of the Giant Hogweed". A great new recording of a true classic (5 stars)
I don't know how many times you can re-master the same album and get away with it, but I always find a fresh perspective and some new details with each recording. While the last remasters seemed to emphasize percussion, these seemed to bring out each of the individual parts to the foreground. Play me my song!

Tremendous Fun! (5 stars)
Nursery Cryme presented a new Genesis that featured both a fascination with musicianship and a desire to create some dynamic and fun songs. The Musical Box is often the highlighted gem from this album, and Hackett paid homage to Fountain of Salmacis on Genesis Revisited, but all of the songs really deserve attention. Honestly, how can you not love Harold the Barrel? And Harlequin & For Absent Friends are simply beautiful. The remaste
