Now I'm well aware of what audience listens to the Allman Brothers, and I can say with ease it's not my age group. Fifteen-year olds tend to listen to Ashlee Simpson and Kanye West. But not I. This is by far the most definitive edition of these concerts. (5 stars)
The recently released "At Fillmore East - Deluxe Edition" (which is essentially the same) pales in comparison to this, save for a great rendition of "Midnight Rider". The other thing that makes this definitive is that on the Deluxe Edition, each track is treated as seperate tracks, whereas here, Tom Dowd treats us to the effect that this was the Allmans doing their best in one night.
