There is no misunderstanding here. (5 stars)
Make no mistake about it, this is a great live album and one of their best. I have no idea why those other people would prefer Paperlate over the last three tracks. That's a joke. The second disc is what makes this a masterpiece. The first disc is decent, with good versions of their then-present material. Specifically Abacab and Behind the Lines are smokin. Fourth side improvement (3 stars)
I see some of the reviews complaining that this is a re re master, not the original, etc. Actually this is the import version of this live album and the fourth side studio tracks of the US version have given way to the far superior live versions of some incredible older material. Great Live Album...but no match for "Seconds Out" (3 stars)
3 Sides Live is a good Genesis album for sure. BUT...if you want to hear a GREAT live Genesis album, "Seconds Out" beats this one hands down. However, it's not on iTunes and should be.
