Chevelle takes it to a whole new level (5 stars)
From the opening chugging riffs on "Antisaint", through the melodies of "Well Enough Alone", and the final thunderous hit of Saturdays. CHEVELLE SIMPLY BRINGS IT ON THIS ALBUM. I listened to Vena Sera once through and I am hooked. The new bassist makes a huge difference in terms of adding that chuggng, thunderous sound to complement Pete Loeffler's screams and melodies. Chevelle fans WILL NOT be disappointed by the new album!! The band's new bass player must have been the catalyst for the heavier sound of "Vena Sera". The album rocks!! My favorite new tracks include "Saturdays", "The Fad", and "Midnight To Midnight". This is a true "rock" album and I highly recommend Chevelle's new album.

Recommended tracks are "Saferwaters", "Paint the Seconds", "Straight Jacket Fashion" and of course &quo

In 1999, Chevelle released their Steve Albini-produced debut album, Point #1, on Squint Entertainment. Three...
