Snakes on a wha? (5 stars)
"Isn't this the same band that made that 'Snakes on a Plane' song?!" Well, almost. Cobra Starship is the brainchild of former Midtown member Gabe Saporta. Although the members of The Academy Is..., The Sounds, and Gym Class Heroes are not present on the CD (with the exclusion of Bring It(Snakes on a Plane) ), Saporta manages to crank out a wonderfully melodic, pop-punk album you're sure to enjoy if you enjoyed Bring It(Snakes on

I've been listening to Cobra Starship since late December of 2006, and as a band, I definetly belived they where something special. Although they are not my favorite band, I was suprised how amazing they where for this being their first album, and landing a tour spot with Fall Out Boy was definelty an accompishment for them. I was not sure my exactl feelings for them until the day I went to see The Academy Is... and Cobra Starship on Honda C

A fun album to jam out, party, or dance to... (5 stars)
I've been looking forward to this album ever since hearing that former Midtown frontman, Gabe Saporta, was taking a break from being so serious and had decided to have some fun with this project. I saw these guys live in Poughkeepsie in September, and they were definitely having a blast. The album itself is highly dance-able, with tons of humor and just straight forward fun tracks to rock out to. It reminds me a bit of Head Automatica's
