One of my favorite Genesis albums remastered. Very sweet. Solves the sound volume problem that plagues a lot of old CDs when ripped to iPod. This remaster is crisp and clear.

One of the Best (5 stars)
For many reasons, one of my favorite Genesis albums. Masterfully executed Prog at its unrepentant Proggy best. Unlike much of the Prog music available from the late 60s and early 70s, the sound is clean, the layering wonderful, the storytelling hammy and fun -- this music takes itself seriously even when the song is about something silly. Forget about the analog purists who long for the days of pops, snaps and muddy arrangements. I enjoy

Remastered? Re-muddled is more like it. Sure, it's crisp and clean, and all scrubbed up and anti-bacterialized, but when I heard Blood on the Rooftops, I almost did jump off the rooftop! Where's the magic that naturally occurs with analog tape?
