guitar masterpiece (5 stars)
you gotta love eric clapton with his awesome guitar skills and great vocals it makes you wanna go grab a guitar form a last minute band and go on tour the next day. he's a great musician a great vocalist and writes awesome songs. hands down he's a guitar god up there with slash.

Clapton in my eyes is the greatest artist of all time. if you want more look for songs from Cream, his old band. an album i sugest is The Cream of Clapton.

I love Clapton, but I enjoy his later works like his album pilgrim and, as always, I enjoy Layla and Cocaine. A great Clapton album, but I don't think the best.

By the time Eric Clapton launched his solo career with the release of his self-titled debut album in mid-1970, he was long established as one of the world's major rock stars due to his group affiliations — the Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, and Blind Faith — which had demonstrated his claim to being the best rock guitarist of his generation. That it took Clapton so long to go out on his own, however, was evidence of a degree of reticence unusual for one of his stature....
