Great change of pace (4 stars)
I have always been a fan of PC. From my college days, I remember him having EWF horns on his solo projects. This Love Songs CD shows a real side of Phil that many should learn about. He sings the ballads with lots of emotion and has top shelf backing players. I find the rehearsal takes especially good and may incorporate into my bands arr of some tunes. My favorite is If Leaving Me is Easy but I was blown away by The Way you look tonight. T

Against All Odds is Not the Original Version (3 stars)
Just a warning for any of you who are planning to download the "Against All Odds" track on it's own, or the entire album with getting that track in mind -- it's not the hit single, it is, I kid you not, an extended instrumental jazz version with no vocals. It's not bad, for an instrumental jazz song, but I was expecting the radio ballad. I feel like that was a waste of 99 cents, but it was only 99 cents, so I'll live. ;) I also
