Great Flashback (5 stars)
I first bought this album back in 1978. As a teenager I was blown away by the blend of guitar work and percussion. I was lucky enough to see Carlos and Co. live in 1978 and 1979 recreating much of what is on this album. No disrespect to his later and current work but this album captures Santana's high point in his career. The live tracks on this album are some of my all time favorites of any band.

Moonflower (5 stars)
Moonflower is one of the best santana albums ever. I think that 1976 brought back the music that made him famous and this 1977 release has new songs plus live songs. She's not there was a big hit and Carlos sounds awesome in the live version of Europa so this is an awesome buy for a fan of santana.

Moonflower is a strong and great album by Santana, you'll never get bored with it. I have this on viynl and i recently listened to Santana's old stuff and i discovered this album on viynl in my dads collection and thank god i did. I highly reccomend this.. and how can this only be the 4th review for this it should be more well known than this...

Santana is the primary exponent of Latin-tinged rock, particularly due to its combination of Latin percussion (congas, timbales, etc.) with bandleader Carlos Santana's distinctive, high-pitched lead guitar playing.
